Why is the Cuban seal broken on my cigars?

If your Cuban cigar box or pack arrives with a broken seal, this is completely normal and not a cause for concern.

All Cuban cigars imported into the UK are inspected by the official distributor, Hunters & Frankau. As part of this process, boxes and packs are opened to check for quality and authenticity.

Once checked, an EMS seal of approval is attached to the box or pack to confirm the cigars have passed inspection.

This ensures that all cigars meet the required standards before being supplied.

Once inspected, the products are returned to their packaging, which is why the seal may appear broken.

This process helps guarantee that you are receiving genuine, high-quality Cuban cigars.
